Default V-LED interior lights issues

So I ordered all the lights specified in the thread Brian made and got them all installed but now I notice that I can not lock the car till the lights go out inside. Anyone else have this issue? And is there a fix? I searched the forum and didn't really find an answer.

I've had the exact same problem..... It is the rear dome lights. You can only use one bulb in the rear set of prongs. For some reason the front set of prongs affects the door locks.

Once there is only one bulb, everything works fine.

This is very strange. What happens when you put both stock festoon bulbs back in the rear dome? Problem fixed?

I noticed dsheth and jmhtx both have 2011 2IS's. How about you travis348?

I replaced the forward VLED Rear Dome Light LED with the OEM bulb last night and that fixed the problem.

Thanks for the tip.

Mine is a 2010. When you put both in there it does the same as if there was just one in the front... the key issues start. I only have one in the rear set of prongs now, the front are empty, works just fine now.

I just messed around with mine and it seems as long as there's only 1 whether it's the front or the back bulb it works fine. so I temporarily removed one and hopefully someone can find a solution to using both.

I wonder why it's only the later MY 2IS's that are affected. Are there any 2010 or 2011 owners out there that have done a full V-LED interior swap WITHOUT having this problem?

At least there's the workaround where you can get away with having only one rear dome festoon bulb plugged in (as opposed to having at least one slot filled by a filament bulb, thus causing a mismatch in color).

Well I have a full V-led interior light, and my key fob is being weird and won't respond sometimes too, the thread in this one is the one I made. I might try to take one of the rear dome light out and see if it works better, otherwise I might get a led board with one connector for the rear dome.
