New 2011...any ideas on why it says my oil filter needs maintenance?

I got the car brand new about two months ago and so far I've only put 1400 miles on it. But this afternoon when I started it the screen displayed an Oil filter icon and said I need to contact the dealer for maintenance. I had the initial complimentary service performed at 1000 miles and everything supposedly checked out fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this or going on? I'll probably bring it in tomorrow morning, but I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience or can offer some insight.
One thing maybe worth mentioning is that I've been using AEM's ETI intake for the last few hundred miles. It seems to have been performing well, but now I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with this situation. I'm not sure if the air intake could be responsible for producing the result in the oil filter but I'm wondering what the dealership might say about having having something aftermarket installed or not honoring the warranty. Should I be concerned or put it back to stock before I take the car in, or do you think I'm safe and don't need to waste my time? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This is for an IS350. It gets a 1000 mile and 5000 mile checkup. If you have an IS250 though, the first service is at 5000.

All Lexus models get the 1000 and 5000, the 1000 is just a checkup and adjust personalization settings. The 5000 is the actual oil change. No idea why your check came on, I'd speak with your dealer to find out why and/or reset it.
EDIT: At least in Canada, on the newer vehicles that use the Synthetic 0W20 maybe they don't do the 1000 mile one anymore in the USA? I brought my 2011 IS250 in at 1600km for it's first check/adjustment.

Come to think of it, one would think that you can use 0W20s in the previous vechiles. When I spoke to Lexus about putting it in the older ones, they do not recommend doing that even thou it is the same engine.

I'm guessing that messages like this on the nav screen are not actually tied to any kind of internal diagnostic sensor and are simply meant as reminders, but seeing an oil filter maintenance warning pop up at 1400 miles kind of surprised me. I just selected to not display the warning anymore. But I'm still wondering if I should be concerned about my aftermarket intake next time I bring the car in to the dealership. Do you think they'll say anything or hassle me about it?

According to one member (might of been Kurtz), the 2011 vehicle are using 0W20s now.

In order to deny your warranty, the dealer has to provide evidence that your mod part caused the problem.

Your dealer probably never reset the oil life indicator. It's happened to me a few times.
The non-navigation models simply use a button in the driver side fuse panel, while nav models have it in screen. The mechanic probably had dirty hands and didn't want to start your car and touch your screen until he cleaned up, and resetting it slipped his mind.
And no, your dealer couldn't care less about your intake unless your engine destroys itself.
