DRLs Disabled...How To Screen Shots Using TIS Techstream
#17
I know this is old and dead, but there is now aftermarket companies that have pirated this software and duplicated the cable. Its now for sale on Amazon.com If I bought it ($30) and turned my DRL's off with it, I'd then like to sell it on here for maybe $10 to help someone else do the same... In the spirit of helping others, I'd like to see this equipment be circulated through this forum and anyone else you may know that could benefit from it. Anybody want it after I turn my DRL's off?

Recently I had access to a Toyota TIS Techstream computer. I took the opportunity to disable my DRLs instead of going to the dealer and having to explain to them and/or have to pay to have this done. I have read on this forum that some dealers tell people that it can't be done. Well, here is the proof and what you can show them if they don't know where to find the settings. It took only a few minutes and it was done. I hope this may help some of you:
I have been looking the answer for this one. What version did you use? I don't see "light control" on my version?
Thanks

Personally I find that disabling the door lock from park to drive and drive to park very beneficial. As well as setting the lights to instant off when the door opens... I left the DRL swish on as it is brighter than earlier incandescent versions of DRL in earlier models.
