Default Trade IS350 for CT200H?

Would any of you guys do it? I really like the body style and larger room with the fold down seats, just the 0-60 @ 9.8... the 40/42 mpg would be nice though

I wouldn't. It looks nice, but I would not trade my IS for it. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

This went through my mind too...

I love the style and the interior... I just wish they stuck the 2.5L in there! A hatch with 200-230hp = WIN! ...Then throw in the 3.5L in there with ~350hp and call it a CT-F

to be honest, i think you have to decide that for yourself. i was reading the CT forum, and someone traded in an IS-F for the CT.

i really like the CT's body style too. i drive an IS250 AWD right now, which is almost as slow. Personally i wouldn't trade in my IS simply because i'm not a hatch kind of guy, but i can definitely appreciate how nice it looks.

Are you guys crazy? Have you seen one in person? Driven one? It's tiny and gutless. Coming off a 350 I think you'd feel a little ripped off...other than the 40 mpg. To quote Charlie Sheen...LOSING!!!

Wow, you guys actually like the body style? Doesn't look a bit like every other hatch backs on the marker? Mazda 3, Subaru. Winning...Duh...NOT...sorry can't help.

I'm not a big fan of hybrids... If you were to purchase between a Corolla and a Prius. I would sweep up the Corolla in an instance. The premium you have to pay for hybrid is just not cost efficient at the current pricing. In order to break even on an hybrid car, gas prices has to remain at $4.10 and you need to drive 430,000 miles in your hybrid versus a Corolla. This is assuming you paid $25000 for a Prius versus $18,000 Corolla.

Since this is a Luxury Car comparing to a Luxury Hybrid, the calculation is different. If you factor the cost of both car, it will say you already broke even based on the price difference.

So it boils down to, what do you like? Performace or Gas Saving... I would say stick with IS350 if you can afford it. You can test drive one to find out. But I can tell you that you gonna complain about the speed. It's slower than the IS250...

Totally different cars, obviously. I say enjoy the power of the IS350 while gas is still relatively cheap (compared to what it would be should oil no longer be sold in U.S. dollars).

I think if I wanted a hb i'd go with the new focus when it comes out, should get near 40 mpg without a hybrid setup (just not in the city but oh wells). Wouldn't trade an is350 for a CT no way no how.

I'm not a fan. I love my IS350 too much. But really it's what you want or need... Simple as that.
