As far as F-Sport parts, I would get the sways first. Exhaust/Intake is a small gain in HP and more for sound.

The F-Sport Intake has the best bang for the buck... gain of almost 5 HP for $500.

F-Sport Exhaust will improve by 1 HP but costs over $1000. < You're getting this mainly for the looks and sound.

You can also choose other intake such as Joe Z Intake Pipe and drill holes into the lower airbox, the gains should be similar but cheaper than F-Sport.

The intake gain won't make night and day difference in performance, so it's arguably a sound mod.

But the Rear Sway Bars on IS350 will make night and day difference in terms of cornering. A lot of members on here will consider that as top mod for IS350.
Lexus rated their Long Beach Grand Prix IS350 Pace Car at 316HP using the F-sport intake and Tanabe Exhaust (yes, they didn't use the F-sport exhaust).

So it's pretty safe to say and intake and exhaust, together, yield 10 BHP.

To the OP, if all you want is the airbox, you can buy that separately from the whole F-sport intake kit for much cheaper - but really, you can get the whole kit pretty cheap off eBay, and the eBay vendors are mostly actual dealers, so it's pretty reputable.

How hard do you think it would be to order the f-sport exhaust and install it myself? I'm thinking it'd be a lot cheaper than having the dealer install it for me due to labor costs.

It's not hard at all. the only issue is depending upon your warranty Lexus will not cover you if they do not install it. I almost installed my f sport intake myself till they said if something ever goes wrong intake manifold or a light turns on due to the intake that my car wouldnt be covered. If your not under warranty though go for it. Sewel has instructions for install easy.

Just to clarify, if they dont install your intake and something goes wrong with your intake manifold, then your warranty on the intake and related parts will not be covered. If anything else like your nav goes out for example, then your still covered

I personally like the stock F-Sport version wheels MUCH better than the G-Spyder...plus, if you're going to change wheels, get something aftermarket and more aggressive

...and bigger than stock

Hi All - New to CL and looking to buy an IS350 F Sport. It's a 2006, 83K miles for ~ $20K. My question, is this a good deal and any particular warning signs I should look out for? IMO I would think a 2006 with 83K should only go for $18K max. The owner appears to have taken really good care of it and maintenance checks out with Lexus.com & Carfax. Just wondering your thoughts and how much I should pay? I'm hoping to get ~100K more miles on it myself. Thanks in advance!

(it was between the IS250 and 350 and found this F Sport, thinking of buying, reading these boards to get as much info as possible)

Lexus didn't make an F Sport model until 2011. What F Sport accessories does this model include?

I'd get the F-Sport intake, exhaust, sway bars, BBK, and shift **** for starters.

All those F-sport parts are after-the-fact items.

they didn't even exist when that car was built in the factory.

If you want to know what option package (if any) it came with from the factory easy guide for an 06 is:

Does it have memory seats?

if no-> does it have woodgrain? If yes then it's the premium package.
if no to both then it's a base model

If it DOES have memory seats then:

Does it have woodgrain? If so it's luxury package
If not then it's sport package
