Default LED strip project

This is my LED project, Im working with the manufacture to get them water proof in different lengths. These are not the Ebay LEDs, they're 1W-3W per led.
Check out the picture below of the LEDs.
second picture is pointing at the wall 10FT away.

I'm gonna have them with external ballast(same as HID) gonna be great for underbody show or headlights/bumper!
Let me get some input on these?

Since those are 1W/3W, how do you take care of the excessive heat?

Assuming driving 3 to 3.5V on a single 3W LED, it will be drawing close to 1A per LED. If you have 10 LED, that is 10A current. Or does your ballast take care of this?

If you can do this, you might have just found the solution to the DRL -> making a functional high-beam DRL.

^ Interested in how the heat is handled as well. Built in heatsink? Seems like it would be hard to pull off in a flexible strip.

Either way, looks pretty sweet.
