It's ok to share an observation of your gf and list that as a reason why it makes you nervous when she drives your car, but when you generalize that to ALL females on a public forum where there are female members, it gets insulting.
Regardless of gender, the person driving or borrowing should have the common courtesy to return what is being borrowed in the same condition it was received.

Ok for all the girls that are getting offended, dont....its not like we're saying girls in particular cant drive or they are gonna wreck our cars or whatever...like someone already said, if its YOUR car you are going to baby it, avoid potholes, park away from other cars etc...most likely no one else will have the same respect, and appreciation for your car be it a girlfriend, a brother, mother or whatever....my gf knows how much i care bout my car so even when i ask her to drive it she says no because shes afraid she might do something i wont approve of lol.

Given how many here feel that they are a bit worrisome of their girlfriends/wives driving their vehicles, I'd gladly hand over the keys to my girl rather than have say a valet employee take it for a spin. I can trust my girl to at least treat it properly, even if she does go through potholes and scrapes the bottom bumper, but I cannot trust some stranger who just wants to abuse someone else's car. Some girls do drive quite poorly, but the same goes for some dudes as well. I can understand how the guys feel about letting their girls drive their cars. That care and understanding to drive in places with potholes and speed bumps, as well as to park away from others- not all girls who drive a car are that careful, but some like Micaiah are. A car is never just a car, and it's great to know or have girls who are just as careful or even more so (as in Slammer1's case) as guys are about their rides.

gf just got into an accident in my IS last week. :'(
Not a huge accident, some scratches but still expensive as hell
Also sad because I took care of it so well. Had flawless SFP paint that still shined like new after almost 3 years.

Well my wife drives my IS250 and my Pathfinder all the time. Never had an issue with her driving either....if you wanna get that good good just shut up and deal with your girl driving or get her her own.
