will 3m double sided tape do? thanks.

3M would suffice...just remember to use the one with the red backing which is commonly used for body trim etc.

and shops use an alcohol swab to clean the area prior to installation.

^^ Yep. Clean the area, then use an alcohol swab and clean it again. Wipe it down with a microfiber and then stick it down with the red 3M tape Shouldn't come off

can't get the screws off the spoiler, i guess i would have to go with the drilling route.

red 3m tape from autozone or home depot. i got to auto zone cuz its closer but it cost more there. i ll only go to home depot if i need a bunch...

Those 3M red double tapes are very hard to be removed.

ive seen this 3m double sided tape that holds up to 2lbs (i think it states that its heavy duty as well?). is this the tape you are all speaking of?

Hey guys, I recently took this advice and purchased double sided 3m molding tape from Auto zone and tried installing the spoiler and it did not stick. The adhesive was not as strong as I have read on these forums. Did I purchase the wrong 3m tape? or do I need to heat it before application? or do I need to get the 3M acrylic plus double sided tape? Any input on this would be appreciated thank you!
