I don't either. Without a shiny lip, blacked-out wheels look like empty holes in the side of the car. WHy spend big bucks to make wheels disappear? I'll never understand it.

 

^ I completely understand where you are coming from. I did a lot of research on different forums looking at pictures of black/black rim cars. Most of them did not look good. However, my bro has the sti in black with black rims and it looked good in person. You can cleary see the concavity of the rim and the whole rim itself. Like I said, it depends on the car but the lc818 satin black goes very well with the lexus is350 imo!

 

Ur kinda proving their point in those pics cuz its really hard to see the wheels

 

^ I am just stating that I have also thought that black cars would not go to well with black rims. However, pictures on forums and seeing actually cars with black rims have inspired me to go in the same route. You also have to take into account that I have took these pictures with a digital camera, so the quality of the picture does not depict the rim very well =D. All in all, I love them!

 

Who even cares... if u like it that's all that matters... I personally like black wheels, I rather see em on a non black car but like I said urs looks nice

 

I am not really sure If I am going to RT! I think my buddies from penn tech college are going to help me install the bc coils. I just need a shop to roll my fenders in the front because I am rubbing a bit in the front even with f-sport springs. Not going to tuck but going with no finger gap in the front and 1 finger gap in the back. Hopefully, pushing the fender itself with a heat gun can solve the issue. Will see.
