Default Is it Me or 2is smokes alot?

I've notice it before but never paid attention to it, so tonight after 1 hour of driving, at 47 degrees. I stop at at light and a car pull up behind me, through it's lights I see smoke coming from my exhaust. I looked at the car front of me and beside me, their exhaust pipe don't have smoke coming out at all. I don't think my Evo or my gf's tC does it at the temp at all. Just wondering.

You sure you weren't seeing steam? There is a difference between steam and exhaust smoke. Steam is normal and can vary from car to car depending on which have been running longer or been sitting longer (condensation).

Haha when I first installed my midpipe, stopped behind a car at a light and saw my smoke in front of my car haha so I pulled over. Everything was ok though

I have a similar problem. I never noticed it until a friend was following me somewhere and pointed it out. The car runs smooth as butter, and is still pretty new (relative to most cars that have some kind of tune up problem or something that causes this), so I'm a little confused.

Some of the above explanations seem reasonable, though, since it seems to mostly happen when the car has been sitting around a little while in certain conditions.

Maybe your car got mad so it decided to blow some steam lol!! Maybe it's really a smoke screen effect !!

I notice smoke on mine too but nothing of concern.

+1 It's normal. My Trans Am does that too. There are a lot of things involved in that in terms of environment, outside temp, engine temp, etc. It's condensation. No worries.

I noticed this too at the gas station during one cold night.. I don't mind it though. What does bother me is the brake smell that comes in during the winter if you're idling after braking.
