why a guy stole my radio, and i bought a radio and it does not work i think i bought a radio that does not work, or i need to reprogram the radio

Give the guy a break. As for the odds of it needing to be reprogrammed, I wouldn't be surprised, but doubt it. Where did you get the replacement from, and did you get the entire HU, or just the cd changer at the bottom? Also, is this a NAV car? There are two body control modules in the kick panels which control the audio in the 2nd gen IS. It is possible, but I would call the dealer and ask them if there is a reprogram issue.

 

is your radio an original Lexus radio ?? there must be a theft code you must punch in ... no ??
