Bought one from eBay from this fellow, prepainted 077 Starfire Pearl

Paint is damn near perfect match, the pearl is off by a twitch. Really really hard to tell unless you get up close and hit the sun just right. At which point the spoiler seems to have just a tad more "off white" to it. Not noticeable at all though unless you are super **** about it like most of us on this board. lol

 

Can you take a picture? The roof spoiler I have is a pretty close match in sunlight but, is completely noticeable in low light and rain conditions.

Best shot I could get of the "variance" right here along the topside. Has to be at just the right angle to really tell and even then you have to be looking for it.


Hope to not see a huge contrast in different lighting like you're talking about but for $90 shipped I'm not disappointed.

 

nice pics.... i think it looks nice bro. and nothing painted after market is gonna be perfect unless you paint the whole car. but 90-95 percent correct is good to me and like you said it was 90 bucks painted and shipped . i got mine from ebay also ...from oemthing

 

If anyone is considering the SFP spoiler from OEM.Thing, i have the paint chip sample they sent me. If your local, you can stop by and see how it matches with your SFP before ordering. I'm in the I.E./West Covina area most of the time, or catch me at the Sonic 909/626/951 meet or the Friday Night meets. I'll keep it in my car!

How long did it take from order to your door?

 

I just installed mine this week. I have a Black Onyx and the color is dead on, however it's hard to screw that color up. I'm very pleased with the quality of it overall. It would be interesting to see how everyone installs theirs. As you can make it nearly touch the roof line or keep it solely over the glass. I got mine lined up with masking taped, taped the entire roof line area and just flipped it up like a hinge and pealed off of of the side pieces to expose the tape. The tape that runs horizontally I just got it started peiling in one side and then laid the entire piece down flat, got it positioned and peiled the rest off slowly.

I did not make mine touch the roof line, mine just slight sits over the top edge of the glass, looks like it was factory with no imperfections.

It took about a full week for mine to arrivedto my door. It took about 4-5 days to piant and then once it was shipped I got it on 2 days.

 

Like 6 days... Super well packaged.

 

Just pulled the trigger... bought it.

Not an exact match. But very close.
