Man, I have to take back what I said about the tape. Well... I think its actually more that promoter stuff they include.
I think mine dried too fast, because the two ends of my spoiler are not sticking anymore, but the middle is, and the middle is where I put the least of that adhesion promoter. Guess I'll have to check back in after.
Gonna have to re-tape the whole damn thing with 3M now...

Yea, my 2IS is Tungsten Pearl. I don't want to pay $621.50 for a Lexon roof spoiler through L-tuned.. They had a group buy back in Feb 2007 for $399 but only lasted a month. I've seen some people selling replica Lexon roof spoilers but I can't find who sells them.. Anybody know?
When my eBay roof spoiler is FS, I'll let you know first istarzan. My spoiler matches 99.999999% when I had it repainted at my buddies shop. When I first received it, the shade of silver is slightly darker and the pearls didn't really match. I didn't buy it from oem.thing, it was some other seller.
Why not buy it from oem.thing? $85 shipped with it being painted and 3m preinstalled is a good deal. Back then, prepainted roof spoilers were over $100.. My spoiler didn't even come with 3m tape, had to buy my own.

There's a few causes that it could have been:
1. Houston, Texas heat
2. Adhesion promoter dried too fast, and the tape never found a solid surface to stick to
3. Spoiler is actually bowed now, but it wasn't from the factory, I remember laying it ontop of the glass and it said there great.
Honestly thinking it was #2. I've installed things with 3M tape on firetrucks without that promoter and seen it last a few years. (college job)
The 3M Pro tape (red) is VERY hard to remove, so that's why I think it just never had a good surface to adhere to.
