That's what I thought but people keep saying they want to upgrade to LED's, so I kinda got confused for a moment there.

They are LED's, but are hidden behind the pattern of the plastic cover. I think what people mean is that they want the ebay LED lights, in which the LEDs are obvious through the plastic of the tail lights because its clear. OR people may mean the reverse light located in there tail lights which are not LEDs and can be upgraded with ones from VLEDs

In every single iteration of the 2IS (06-08, 09-10, 11, IS-F) the tail light assembly is made of LEDs, except for the reverse lights and turn signals.
