I'm of Japanese decent, i have family in Japan, i lived in japan for 4 (5?) years and i DO NOT find this thread in bad taste. Bad things happen all the time but life goes on~ we have our own lives to live and by buying JDM products we will be helping those there by providing jobs and income.

^^thanks for the honesty llamaboiz....needless to say we all feel bad about what happened in Japan...with that said, life in the US goes on as usual and we need to worry about the implications the disaster will have on our own lives. im sure all you guys who are crying about this thread dont go out and have fun at all...you just sit home and monitor the situation in Japan and pray for the people 24/7...
On the real this is how you can help

Eitherway, whenever they are able to start to open any of the plants again, it would probably take several weeks to even get started again since they'll have to re-validate all their equipment and re-calibrate all of it as well. No one is going to start selling anything unless they know they can produce it with the same quality...

Sean, I admin a bicycle site. This was a thread started and it's first post:
"Japan disaster: No electric, no gas, cars destroyed, bikes working fine.
It's a horrible thing that's happened in Japan, but people getting out on bikes makes me feel proud that I ride a lot and could deal without a car.
I wish them well. "
Got several reported posts on it and for the first time I actually lost my cool a little and replied with this:
"So what are you doing to help those in this ravaged country?
And in regards to you being proud that you are able ride a lot and deal without a car ~ Also be proud that you are PHYSICALLY able to ride while those who are dead or injured from the quake and water cannot.
Yeah. Be proud. You da man. Thread closed."
Although I should not have shown my personal feelings in my reply above, this example is why I can honestly say that your post is not offensive to ME personally.
