i get this problem when teh sunroof is down ... sounds like metal hitting metal in my case

I get the same noise when in tilt mode, but I've learned to ignore it because my mom's '98 GS300 has always had the exact same noise, along with a friends '96 LS400.

yeah my chrysler 300 did it too. Dont ask why i had a 300. It was a phase.

believe me, GLAD to be back. The 300 interior felt cheap and didnt hug me quite as well. I feel like im a perfect fit in the IS. I need to be atleast half a foot taller and another 20 lbs to look right in that car haha
