684 miles from Birmingham, AL to Sugarland, TX for work.....took around 11 hours. Paid 0.50 a mile for having fun for 11 hours. Then drove back!

The day I picked up my IS350 from Sewell I drove it from Dallas to Phoenix, AZ - 1,068 miles. Slept in a hotel, and then put another 373 miles on her before I arrived in LA. Arrived in LA with 1,441 miles already on the odometer... I've actually made this drive several times since, as well.

Do you mind me asking you why you decided to purchase out of state? I'll be purchasing my IS250 soon and I'll be in Vegas for a while, so maybe I could just wait to get it there.

And to keep it sort of on topic, just did a road trip from LA to SF this week and the car was so gross. Luckily it was a rental and not my new IS. Will have to look into the taping the front when I drive to/from LV.
Eh, maybe I'll look into a clear bra actually.

I was one of the first in the US to take delivery of an IS350, back in October 2005. I ordered a Glacier Frost/Black interior IS350, and Sewell was the first dealership that was being allocated one, so I flew to Dallas and drove it home. It was fun - I would definitely do it again.

Definitely sounds fun, but I don't know I could've stood my brand-new car getting that dirty D:
