I drove from Las Vegas, NV to Temple, TX in 21.5 hours, stopping to eat. I barely managed staying awake the last hour, or so. Was hauling as*, and got a speeding ticket; still managed only about 50+ mph.

Bought my car in Chi-town, drove it back to Toronto. About 550 miles, or 11 hours with two pit stops, and the hassle of importing the car at the border.
She handled the trip like a champ... and I never got lost once with the Nav guiding me.
What others have said about the bugs is true though.... took some scrubbing to get all of them damn bugs off...lol.

16 hours from George Washington Bridge to a little place called Robbinsville, NC. That was for the Tail of the Dragon meet a few years back. Then I did a multi stop trip from the George Washington Bridge to Key West. I stopped at Myrtle Beach and Miami along they way. Finally, I did a trip from Park Slope, Brooklyn to Halifax, Nova Scotia and back. That took about 17 hours of speeding. See, I don't like speeding when I'm out of state. The speeding took place when my sister drove lol

This was my longest trip in my 350 by myself. Actual time and drive time are both in the chart, corrections for time zones are included in the calculations. Sacramento to Irving, TX was non-stop.
I've also driven straight through from Sacramento to Atlanta with a co-driver both ways. I have a spreadsheet for that trip too. Farthest in the F would be Atlanta to Cedar Rapids, IA, also done once alone straight through. Not nearly as bad as the trip from Sacramento to Atlanta.

maybe a bit off topic, ive never tried it myself but seen others do it before heading for a long drives in dubai, they put dish washing liquid to the car and drive it around in a sand lot until they get a nice thick coat of sand on the car leave it over night for it to dry and harden and head out for there drive, apparently its great for stopping stone chips and sometimes if your driving fast and a lot of sand is blowing its like your car is getting sand blasted leaving small lines apparently this method stops all that
here's a pic of what i mean

that's not how they do it ,the dish liquid washer is another thing ( just using a sponge and rubbing all over the front end to create a layer of dish-washing liquid to protect from sand storms) .
what is in the pic is done by shops that have machines that blows this stuff , I've never done it , I've heard that it's hard to remove esp around the headlights.
I don't like both methods, painter's tape is the best method IMO.
