yea i took them both off, was getting old. As for the it messed up while i was taking the tape off, it would peel the dip along with it. So i used a exacto knife to cut along the edge and screwed up some areas of the weather strip FML

That sucks about your weatherstripping, did you get a quote for replacement?
thanks man, its a phase that i went thru.
Ummm no i didnt i was too afraid to ask my service advisor since there are some areas that are lifting and some areas that i accidentally slipped over on the stripping. So if he see those slits he might say its not covered under warranty. But i had no luck finding replacements
