That's funny, since Matador Red is one of my favorite colors on the IS. I like the TP better than I thought I would at first. It is a regular "silver" and definitely grows on you. Looks really good from the front, at an angle. Just got home. Going to let the brakes cool a bit and then will get to work.

Edit: it "ISN'T" a regular silver........ I really should proof read my posts before I submit them, instead of after.

Well, gets dirty quicker relative to the car. I can go weeks and weeks without a wash before my SFP "looks" dirty. I don't want to brush my calipers every week if they get dirty that quick.

Update!
Got the fronts painted and the wheels back on. Doing the rears now. I didn't read the decal directions until I was finished with the front, which is when I saw that they say wait a full 24 hours after painting, before putting them on. Oh well. I am on the left rear now, and will do the right rear next. Going to pull it out of the garage when finished and snap a few pics.
Going pretty well so far, but disappointed that the paint is so thin and doesn't cover better than it does. It took 4 coats on each of the front calipers, and looks like the 3rd coat is going to do it on the left rear. That's a LOT of wait time between coats!!! I have been snapping a few pics as I go, and will post them when done.....

I left them on the car. I was able to tape off the fronts with just removing the pin and hardware. On the rear, I removed the pads, but still left the caliper on. I now have all four calipers painted and the car back together. Still pissed that I didn't catch the "wait 24 hours" part in the decal instructions. Oh well, I will do them and the clear coat tomorrow. Not that big of deal really. Give me a few minutes and I will post up pics of what I got done today.

Okay, got a few pics. As I said, the calipers are painted, but I am waiting until tomorrow to apply the decals and spray the clear coat.

The stuff I used....

Driver's front caliper after 2 coats. Really disappointed it took so many coats......

Passenger side front caliper. This one was the worst in regards to coverage! And I REALLY scrubbed these down with break cleaner and a wire brush.

Rear caliper. I pulled the pads on the rear. Would have been way to hard to paint around them and the clips that hold them in.

A few "after" pics......

And before anyone has the chance to jump on it, I know the car is dirty! It has been raining every 3 days here, and I am going to wash her when I get done tomorrow. I will post final pics with decals applied tomorrow night.
Thanks again for everyone's input on this!
