Are these Genesis wheels a direct fit? or do you need some kind of adapter?

BTW, I really like how clean this looks. Great idea!

Yes, direct fit if you have an IS250. IF you have a IS350 you will need a 5mm spacer (or more if you wish) to clear the calipers on the IS350 brakes.

Also you will need a hubcentric ring for peace of mind though some people don't run one. I do/would

I don't understand, how did you go from the stock offset of +45/+50 to +35/+35 without using spacers?

Cause he's not using the stock wheels anymore. The genesis wheels he has now are a +35 on all the wheels from Hyundai.
Plus he didn't need spacers since his IS250 has small calipers. The calipers clear the wheels and don't hit the wheels, thus no need for spacers.

Gotcha! Didn't realize these had that different of an offset. Wonder how much extra stress that 10-15mm wider stance puts on the wheel bearings.

In my opinion, the closer your offset is to 0 the better for wheel bearings. However, we can't run a 0 offset on our cars with wide wheels.

^ How would running a lower offset be better for the bearing? Wouldn't it kill the bearings prematurely?

I think I want to give these a try. I've got the same color IS but I'm leaning towards a black coating (any recommendations?) on these wheels. Something like this...

Would those rims clear IS350 calipers?
