Question Simple (?) question about IS250 power steering

I'm doing the preliminary groundwork for a 4GR engine swap into an older Toyota chassis. Can someone with some technical familiarity with the IS250 tell me if the POWER STEERING system:
A) is purely electrical (no hydraulic fluid used at all)?
B) is electro-hydraulic, with an electrically driven power steering pump?
C) uses a traditional belt driven power steering pump on the engine?

Thanks!

Purely electrical. The motor is in the steering rack, no fluid.

There is nothing on the engine related to the power steering, at all.

Meh... that's what I was afraid of. Well thanks. The 2GR powered Camry uses a traditional power steering pump. I think finding a way to mount that on the 4GR would be option #1. Second choice would be going electro-hydraulic, which Toyota used in the MK2 and MK3 MR2s and possibly others I'm not familiar with. It would be a lot of additional work, but probably more feasible than trying to transplant the entire IS steering rack and control system.

I think the Camry 2GR-FE power steering pump is probably a good option.

Other pieces like the belt tensioner and so on are the same between the 4GR-FSE and the 2GR-FE. The P/S pump on the 2GR-FE mounts on the RH side of the engine, the 4GR-FSE doesn't have anything in the way over there I don't think.

Good luck!
