Ya I used a pin punch and hammer just like the Sewell video. No idea how it actually happened. Last time I did this with my 250 it was a piece of cake. Got the new assembly yesterday morning. It was $217.00 total...not horrible...but a very big pain in the ***!
before you use the pinch punch , you should spray it with dw40 1st to get loosen... patient my friend ....
Ahhhhhhh ya I missed that. It wasn't a patience issue...I just hammered on it too hard or clapped too hard with the vice. Either way, it's all good now. Just don't make the same mistake I did anyone who does this in the future!!!
Remember anything that u want to change old parts to new one, always to spray some sort of lubricant and then take it apart and it doesnt hurt to tap it a bit to get it loose lolz...

I feel your pain, didnt happen to me with the pedal assembly but it did with the steering damper. A $26 mod turned into $250, had to buy a new clockspring
