Whats ups everyone just wanted to introduce myself! I currently drive a 06 Ivory Pearl G35 coupe 6mt which I decided a few weeks ago I'm going to sale and find me a IS250/350 to takes its place! I love my car but need the room have two daughters! I hear I'm going to miss the power but at 33yrs old I just plan on lowering it a bit and put some 19s or 20's on it thats about it! Anyone here ever been from a g35 to a is250?

Never owned a G35 coupe but I honestly think a IS350 will hold its own and surprise you. Good Luck with your car shopping!

Both are great cars. That said, the backseat will be quite cramped in either, so might want to look at an ES if you're planning on having it for a while (as your kids get taller). And I've driven a G35 and now own an IS350, if you get the IS350 you definitely won't "miss" any power..

I had a G35 coupe and the newer gen Sedan. I'd def looking into the sedan especially if you're thinking about getting into the 250. The 350 however in terms of speed is faster than the coupe and on par with the newer gen sedan. If you have 2 kids, the IS isn't exactly kid friendly, pretty cramped in the rear for carseats.

Well there not with me all the time and if we do go anywhere together we take the yukon so it just feels like I should have a four door so when I pick them up from school or take them to practice they have a little more room! I'm actually want to get an is250/350 for me then a gs350 for the wife. She saw me looking at these two cars and said she wouldnt mind getting one also! I'm in no hurry just started looking havent even put my car for sale yet but i plan on pricing it just above trade in so I hope it sales fast!

go IS350 and you will not miss the power.....my dad when from the G35 to IS350 after I got my IS250 bc he loved the interior versus his G35.......he does miss the reclining rear seats in his 4 door G35
