Well, I honestly don't know if they'll fit yet, I'm sure they will. Sewell isn't wrong though, they're not a direct fit, and there aren't going to be instructions (at least not yet) on how to do it. They're just a factory replacement part, not an add-on like the GFX was.

What colour is your car? I can see if I can track down the part numbers for you. I'm sure your local dealer would also be able to look them up as well.

Jeff, I am pretty sure it should just fit, cause i don't see the point of lexus makes 2 different bumper for 2011? thats just too much trouble, Ive put my F sport lip next to the bumper, and it looks spot on.

there are TABs that come on the F sport front lip, there is a member on here said that there are marks behind the bumper tells you where to cut the hole for the Fsport lip on a regular 2011 bumper just like the GFX rear lip.

My car is Obsidian just like yours Jeff Ive been waiting to pull the trigger on these and am now hopeful that they'll actually fit. Im not too keen on cutting holes into the bumper...it would be unreal if one of you guys could do a diy when you receive and install your lips

Holy ****e.

I'm really confused now.

Let me see if i have this straight:

For a 2011 IS - Your options are ordering the 2011 F Sport complete front bumper assembly for $1500 from Sewell.

-Or- Purchasing the side inserts shown on sewell's website? But we aren't for sure if these inserts will fit on the stock 2011 bumper as of yet?

Am I correct?

98% sure they'll fit, but you'll need to drill holes or find another way to mount it.

The bumpers are likely shaped the same (they usually are). As for the "it doesn't make sense that they'd make two" comment, Toyota/Lexus makes multiple options for things all the time. For less consequential stuff than this, it's definitely possible, and it does happen. More so for Lexus even than Toyota.

Default IS Front Lip

It seems that most think the F-Sport Front Lip will fit a standard IS; but has anyone actually installed the lip on an IS? I would love to see pictures or see the instructions on how this lip is installed. I really want to add this to my 2011 IS250. Thanks for any additional information.

It isn't a lip for the record...it's two separate inserts that somehow adhere to the bumper.

I too am curious to see if these will fit on a stock 2011 bumper and the process involved to do so.

Can anyone confirm this? And has anyone with a non Fsport bumper succesfully install the add ons? I'm not crazy on cutting holes in my brand new bumper, but if there are templates back there, I might be more inclined to just go for it.

Mine should be here this week. I could actually see there being marks on the inside for where the holes are on the F-Sport versions from the moulding process, but I guess I'll see when I take things apart to try.

Looks like it will probably be 5 slots that need to be made in the bumper per side.

Will be ridiculously nervous...

5 "slots"?

You mean 5 "holes to be drilled" per side?
