called my dealership and they said it was no longer made. called sewell to confirm...yep ther is no more being made

so if you get rear ended there is NO replacement GFX kits.

tracked one down took me 3 days...

thought sewell still had a bunch in certain colors available for cheap under the closeouts. I know its not being made anymore but there are plenty sitting around from what my dealer tells me. It wasent overly popular as most Lexus buyers do not mod. I wasnt even aware of most of the stuff until i got on here.

I would think though since the 06 model becomes more affordable to younger buyers by the day (especially if a 3IS comes out) youll see replica GFX kits on ebay soon enough for cheap. There just has to be a better market for it.

I called sewell and they said they had none. They told me to look on ebay lol.The Lexus dealer said because of how they box them (c-shaped) they had to send out 2-3 because they broke so much

was it because sewell didnt have it in your color and you couldnt order? the 06-08 gfx are discontinued but I saw them for sale on their website last week when I ordered my gfx front.

sewell said they didnt have any rear lips in any color (i asked) I tried calling local dealerships and they sad they stopped carrying them I had to track one down in california and had it reboxed (for it didnt break just incase) and shipped out to me (Nebraska)

lip+boxing+shipping= $240 and it still needs to be painted (crystal white)

I wonder if the Sewell vendor can chime in on this thread confirming that the GFX kits (rear is my main inquiry) are discontinued or not, I've still been hesitating buying mine from them for 300$....I have obsidian..

LMAO , same thing I emailed and Darrel responded to me and gave me a good explanation. Here's an excerpt. My car is Starfire so it's always cost more than the other colors. But he gave me good reason as to why and I'm cool and appreciate him taking the time to email / explain this to me. I'm on the fence still as I want to order them as well.

I would call the dealer and see if they can find you one. They can do a "locater" search, to see if any other dealers have a part. They have been discontinued. I got mine from Sewell (Tungsten Pearl) about 4 months ago, and only paid about $140, including shipping. I would definitely try to find the factory GFX first, unless you were just looking for something aftermarket anyway. It is nice to get it pre-painted, and know that it will be an exact match........
