Default oil change....question

Hey guys,

after purchasing my brand new 10 IS250 and driving it for about 300 miles i had to leave the country for a year. now that im back i was wondering if i should just get a oil change. its been sitting there untouched with probaly the first and only oil change from the dealer.

thanks

I would change the oil ... even with advanced technology in lubricants 1 year without moving and it being the original oil I would go and change it

^^^ It comes with 2 complimentary oil changes. If you look at the lower right square of your Window Sticker, it says

"Lexus is pleased to offer the following support package with each new Lexus

- 24 Hour, 365 day/yr, roadside assistance
- Complimentary 1st and 2nd scheduled maintenance services
- Lodging for emergency breakdown 100 miles from home"

I had my oil change at 1000 miles because I'm paranoid. I have scheduled my second one for next week for my 6000 miles oil change. Both are free

You can tell them that you want to do the oil change instead of just inspecting.
