Hi everyone, I just wonder anyone whose has the NAV unit in your IS, when the head unit getting hot so the cooling fan kick in to cool down the radio unit, so when NAV radio getting hot the the fan is working to cool down the unit, but tha fan spins very loud anyone have the same problem?

If my navigation unit or radio have a fan, it is so quiet that I didn't even know it was there.

Yeah! I think there is a fan on the bottom of the radio unit? at first i heard the spins noise I thought it was the noise came from the NAV disk slot drive? and I eject the NAV disk, but it still heard spins noise, then I eject ALL disks in CD drive and still heard the spins noise and I tried to listen close to the unit and found the spins noise came out from the bottom of the unit where is above the slot where is cigararet outlet is? as soon as i turn the car off the fan spins slowly and it stopped

Huh. Maybe it's loose, or it's hitting some wires back there?

maybe? I would take it out and check to see is the fan is rubbing something when the weather getting warmer out here

UHMI never thought about it, but I heard the spins sound when the car getting warm up? or when it parked under the sun or hot tempature ?

I've never had a problem with that... has the navi every stopped working due to overheating?
