Default Wald spoiler question

how are you guys/gals attaching the (real) wald spoiler? Just wondering before I buy one.

I had it molded and the rear quarter panels were raised with fiberglass to meet flush with the wing.

For those who had their WALD truck spoiler installed, did you guys notice a dip in your gas mileage and the way the car handles?

The only change one MIGHT notice is gained stability in the rear at non-legal speeds.

Its funny I was looking for one of these posts as I just got my OEM spoiler from Sewell today cant wait til it stops raining today/tommrow to put it on hopefully I will get a nice good stick and I can effectively cut off the preattached bolts w/little hassle lol

So there's pretty much no downside to this type of rear spoiler? I thought they would create drag and lower gas mileage?

Isn't the main purpose for spoiler is to keep the car headed nose first? (normally a good thing) at 80mph or above.

If I took my car out on the track, I might notice a slight difference in handling?
