i completely agree. i'm the type that would manually check my tires every few weeks anyways. the whole TPMS thing is really for old farts who don't really care for their cars, until a warning light comes on. then they take it to the dealer

I wish that were true...

replica, when I first switched over near the end of Nov, the light rarely came on but it's constantly on now... I'm counting the days until I can switch back to my summers...

#@#$# groundhogs should be shot. It was snowing this morning on the drive into work...

Pretty sure most, if not all, Canadian models have TPMS since 2006.

Cliff notes:

Running aftermarket wheels without TPMS will have no major problems. Other than the low tire pressure warning coming on as well as random chimes, it's all good.

Has anyone else tried putting the sensors in the spare?? Seems much easier and more economical than building a pipe bomb.

only problem i had was the car maxing out at 110 cause of tpms....guess its safety issue....was so pissed...got handed by a m45...
