Default Any major problems running wheels w/o TPMS?

I just got a set of wheels for my 350 but don't plan on running the sensors or having the dealership sync new ones. Will there be any major problems not running the sensors besides the light going off?

TIA

Joe

OK, OK, I've finally got to ask - what the hell's a pipe bomb?

I've seen a few posts mentioning this, I'm just curious what it is. Thanks!

A "Pipe Bomb" is a contraption made of PVC piping and inside are your TPMS sensors. Usually hidden in the trunk to avoid the dash light from annoying the driver. Another option is putting them in the spare tire. It can still be driven with them rolling around in the spare because another member had to do it.

I've gone all winter without them in my winter set. Randomly, you will also get a warning beep in addition to the lights. It happens when the system rotates between the check system and low tire messages...

thought about putting some electric tape over the light but then figured I'll just pay the $50 bucks for 4 sensors from ebay. What I wasn't about to pay for was the $90 each they wanted at the stealership...

HAHAH! Yeah bro, I was thinking the same thing when I seen the picture. This things got VBIED written all over it if you were to ever get a random search going through the gate...

I was gonna do the pipe bomb (and still might), but I've been running w/o TPMS for over a month now, and I was pleasantly surprised at how little the light comes on, really not a big deal. Most days it doesn't even come on. And no warning chime.

BTW, I hate TPMS. More unnecessary crap, dead weight, and expense.
