id try to get a bunch of people who have all been screwed by this dealership together, and get the news involved and they will do a big story on it and if they get wind of whats going on they may be more wanting to do something vs a big news story of a shady dealership.

Finally!!!
I didn't have to email Sonic. Don Nickles is making things right. I am"trading in" my is250 that covers my costs for the car for a new CT200 at a very good price Calvin, i know i know lol.. but the wife likes it and can't knock double the mileage than the is250 especially with premium gas prices in nyc.

I'll be swapping out the car this weekend.
I'll still somehow don't believe it is happening so I will update and confirm once the deal is complete. I'm really glad to be working things out with Don without having to resort to law suits and such.

Congratulations! This is awesome news! I'm so glad to hear it; I thought the story was over and you were just stuck.

What ended up happening? How did Nickles come around? Or did he just call up out of the blue and say "You know, I woke up this morning and decided to not be a jerk?" I feel like something had to happen to cause him to change his mind.

And you're trading it in for exactly what you paid + taxes, etc? That's great to hear. And no worries on the CT haha, I was just giving you trouble - sounds like a perfect fit.

i don't know what happened. I thought I was going to get stuck too but then last week Don called and said he would like to try to make things right. I have to be honest, i was quite skeptical and thought he was going to make a silly offer with a bad trade in amount and purchase price but then he kept his word. He also proposed an option for a new or used is250 but there wasn't one in the color/options i wanted and i think we both really didn't want to go down the cpo route again this time so it worked out!

will do, ill snap some pictures after getting the paint film installed this weekend.
So far the cars great, avg 45 mpg but miss my back up cam and memory seats!
I'll have to add one of those visor lcds or rear view mirror lcds.
