Default A/F Sensor replacement

Man I really need some help. I need to replace bank 1 sensor 1 on my 250 which is the passenger side up stream sensor. To get to it I need to remove the battery, battery tray and underneath that, the computer, to be able to get to the sensor. Problem is I can not figure out how to get the computer unplugged. Any ideas out there?

You might be able to leave the computer (actually the EPS computer) installed. Just remove the battery and tray to get access to the A/F sensor and plug. Otherwise you might get away with just unplugging the two or three wire harness that go into the EPS ECU. They use a gray latch/lock that needs to be pulled up to unlock the connector.

Spray some WD-40 on the threads to help loosen the sensor before removal.

Thanks, Gaugster. I tried it without taking it out. I just can't get enough slack on the harness to do what I need it to. I need to at least unplug one end of it and flip it out of the way. I'll take a look at the connectors again.

Thanks,
