DO NOT BUY CARBON FIBER "FABRIC"

IT'S JUST WRONG. I'M TELLING YOU

http://www.cfwrap.com/Carbon-Fiber-Fabric-s/1.htm

it's freaking hard to wrap the console with this cf fabric because it's not sticky

and the fabric is so thin that makes spray glue permeates through cf fabric.

just get 3m di-noc vinyl, it's way more easy to wrap

plus, this site won't let you return the item.

I got my interior trim wrapped in this fabric and it came out perfect. Are you using 3m super 77 spray adhesive? your probably doing it wrong.

Maybe you shouldn't DIY if you have a hard time.

no. i did mine with vinly and came out perfact.

we tried fabric for friend's IS this time and its just too much hassle.
we had to spray front and back of console to bond fabric but vinyl doesn't have to do this step.
i also used 77 spray adhesive and it permeates through the fabric that makes
front very sticky.

Yeah when i did my gfx lip the spray goes through the fabric and ruined it. Its actually better used for fiberglassing

Youre doing it wrong... dont peel it, just cut around it and spray with 3m 77 adhesive. Did my whole interior and a couple of my buddy's car and came out perfect!

haven't ever used this stuff cause us old guys like the wood trim, that is made from one solid piece of walnut btw, but starting from pic number 2 it looks like you're not supposed to peel the stuff off the cloth backing. If you spray the back of the black cloth then it probably won't bleed though to the front...
