Default ISX50 vs. ISF Reliability?

Guys,

Has anyone noticed that the ISF's reliability seems to surpass that of the IS350 or IS250? When I say reliability, I am referring to stupid ***** like dash rattle, engine vibrations, noises, recalls, etc... It seems that the ISF is like a carefully built IS model....no?

Well it's newer (not much long term testing - after 3 years I'd say probably an average 45K miles on an 08), lower volume, and I'm sure some components (engine, tranny etc..) are assembled with more care, and for $20K more than my car I'd hope it holds up. Frankly I'm not surprised.

The flagship ls460 has rattles sometime. isx50 and F are more prone due to their low profile.

Yeah I agree the $20k difference means heavier duty components (engine, trans, etc...), but I thought the ISF was literally built side-by-side with the IS350 and IS250, except for engine, trans, and a few interior/exterior aesthetics? Kind of like the BMW M3....the engine and drive train are built at M-Power building while the rest of the car is literally side-by-side to the 3-series (aesthetics aside). I would hope the care in quality would exist throughout the entire line-up.
