Default What Can I Expect Next?

Well my car has just passed its 120k Kilometer warranty and not even 500km out of warranty the from engine started making a noise, well the water pump and one of the pulleys on the engine are finished and I was told it will be atvleast $1000 to repair them. This is really irritating because I purchased my lexus because i wanted a reliable vehicle and then this happens right after the warranty expires. I also noticed a humming noise in the front end so I'm expecting to replace 1 or more wheel bearings soon. (So much for going to mexico this year haha)

So what else should I be expecting after 120000km (75000 mile)/ end of warranty mark?

I would try another dealer if you can. I've seen posts where the dealer still did the warranty work even though they were very slightly past warranty.

If it's out of warranty, you don't have to repair it at a Lexus dealership anymore. Try a Toyota dealer or a general jap specialty shop. They'll probably do it quicker and for less $/hr.

Call Toyota/Lexus corporate and speak with them. Usually, if your just outside of the warranty period and something like this happens they will take care of most or all of the bill for you out of Goodwill. If you have all the service records showing all maintenance was done, they will almost 90% of the time take care of you. I've done this with Honda before and a couple friends have done the same with Toyota.

I cant even take it to a lexus dealership anyways, nearest one is 8 hours away, I have a toyota in my town but they dont service lexus. I dont have the service records either, I bought the car used so up until 90k km's i have no records what so ever. Last time I ever buy a used car and a lexus.
