Default My IS350 or 08 ISF ??

I have found a 08 ISF (White) with 25k miles for 38,500. I have always wanted a F but i have a lot of money in my current ride. It would prob be about a 17k difference when it all comes down to it and would prob have to part out my car, do you guys think its worth it? With gas skyrocketing im not sure what to do.

I was in that predicament not too long ago. Granted the temptation was very strong, basically what it came down to in MY situation was that financially it wasn't worth the upgrade for two more cylinders. I hardly drive mine as it is. I could spend that extra 25k on a new kitchen or back/front yard.

There's just no reason to get rid of my car right now.

If inremember correctly, you have a wife and kid? If neither of them will be affected negatively, and you have a steady income, I don't see why not.

With that said, DIBS on the wheels! Lol

it's a never ending road cause there is always one better than another... just be happy with what you have right now, since you have invested so much.

Just keep it. Unless you can mod the F.

Very true on the never ending road thingie. I would get it if I found what I wanted for a good deal like that. One of the reasons I don't have an F now is because I could not find the color I wanted used. And the front bumper I don't fancy to much.

If you can afford it I don't see why not. The mod bugs probably going to hit you harder

My IS350 is fast enough, handles well enough, and brakes well enough. Plus I couldnt justify the extra 10-20k that used ISF costs over a used 350. Not to mention the extra maintenence costs of more expensive brakes and tires that wear out faster...

Plus, its hard to be respoinsible and drive the 350 anywhere close to its limits, so why pay for extra hp when you can rarely use it?

if getting the F leaves you in exactly the same state as your IS350 then do it.

By this I mean, if you have no car payments right now, then getting the F should leave you with no car payments either; and your family should continue to be happy

If you are worried about paying for gas than logic seems to follow you can't comfortably afford an F.
