Springs, spacers and rubbing
I am thinking of putting spacers on my car to make the wheels flush with the fenders. I run a machine shop so I can machine the spacers custom to make the wheels perfectly flush with the fenders. Now my question is what springs should I get? I live in Toronto, Canada we get heavy snow here, I wouldn't wanna drop it too much, maybe 1". Right now the tire size on all 4 wheels is 245/30/20, and my tires are slightly rubbing on the front end when I turn the steering wheel approximately 45 degrees. If I drop it 1" will I need to roll the fenders, or will I need to do anything else as well so it doesn't rub.

Depending on where you are rubbing...lowering could actually get rid of the rubbing.
Did for me. Lowering the vehicle dropped the fender liner point where I previously rubbed- and as a result it isn't level with the outermost part of my tire anymore...which was the point where I was rubbing.
Just gotta watch the top of the wheel well now.
