Ok, So I just spoke with the guys at Seibon and they are telling me that the Front Lip for the 2IS only fits 2006-2007 models... they said that Lexus modified the bumper in 2008 and the Front lip wont fit... is this true, I thought they only changed it in 2009... has anyone used the Seibon front lip on a 2008? Was there any change of the bumper from 2007 to 2008 or is it the same?

Should be no change between 2006-2008. 09+ are different.

Thats what I said.. But Seibon told me I could buy it but that "I have been warned, and if the front lip does not fit it's not returnable"... I spoke with someone at JM Lexus I know... he's looking into it for me but he thinks same as me, there shouldnt be any difference in the bumper...

2009 models got the new bumper (starting with August 2008 production).

MY 2006-08 all have the same bumper.

Kinda sucks that Seibon doesn't know what cars their product is compatible on... some resellers say only 06-07 some say 06-08... Ill probably just get it and take the gamble I guess...

Ya think? And they try to tell me on the phone that there was a "small facelift" in the 2008 model bumpers... I was like really... I dont think so, I know Lexus... lol, I even checked with JM Lexus and a friend of mine confirmed that the bumper part numbers are identical for 2006, 2007, and 2008 meaning there was no change... I tried to explain this to Seibon, but the guy on the phone told me that he personally installed a front lip on an early model 2008 no problem but a late model 2008 was not compatible.... I was like yeah, ok.... Then it was prob a 2009...

They're making the opposite mistake on the GS.

They think the face lift happened in 09, but the GS actually received a face lift in 08. I feel bad for people that place orders with them and end up with parts that dont fit
