Default Thoughts on this is250

I was thinking about buying this and slowling repairing it over awhile. Cant afford to do it all at once. but i can do 95% of it myself I dont know all the info on the wreck havnt looked at it yet emailed the guy about more info on the wreck and everything. But hes asking 8000 was gonna offer 7000 and see what he said it only has 32,000 miles on it. what do you guys think?

Looks like you have a front bent axle or there's some serious camber on the car.

Check if the chassis has been tweaked... Looks like he curbed something and then slammed right into the car in front. The distance of the front wheel from it's well is pretty bad... It's more than replacing the bumper and fenders for sure.

Perhaps after adding in all the parts, paint, alignment, etc ; you may be better off buying a used one.

You might want to bring it to a mechanic to have a second look. I am not sure if it has any structural damage, so you should have that checked out before considering. I personally would not spend the amount as suggested, since you will probably spend a lot more just to get it all fixed. The finished amount could probably buy you a "new" corolla or something. just my thoughts

Looks like something I wouldn't touch. Who knows what can pop up in the future even after you fix it up.

Air bags have deployed. That means it has a restored/salvage title. At least here in AZ. I won't bother with it. Probably has many other things wrong and you would have a tough time selling it. Plenty better out there...

Go lease a new one for 475 a month. that one doesn't even have the wood trim interior (although that's the least of your worries). That thing's a disaster man.

looks like you should buy a car you can 'afford' and not some wreck you want to fix so you have a car you 'want'

It looks good from the backside! (Just trying to stay positive here...)

Honestly though, I would have nothing to do with a mess like that. Ever seen the movie "Money Pit"? That's what comes to mind...

On another note though, if you could talk him down even further you might be able to make some money off of it by parting it out.

Some people don't WANT the wood, doesn't mean it's a lesser car. It was an OPTION. I bet since you have a wood interior that you also have that little extra button on the right side of the steering wheel that's below the blue tooth buttons. Right?

I opted to not have the wood trim, didn't like the look. Guess everyone has a diff preference.
