ya, same problem as you it seems. 250 awd, but I think I'm gonna go 350 in a few months. really don't need the awd as much as I thought

I went from an evo X GSR SSS to an IS350. Same color pretty much too. Def dont go to a 250 man, I wouldnt even do that deal with that neg equity.

if you trade your current car for the IS, that would be the worst financial decision EVER

i leased my 09 IS250 w/ nav, hid's for 36 months /15K @ $477/mo after taxes with $1500 down. if i remember correctly, the negotiated price of the car was about $32,800 or so, 50% residual and the money factor was .0009

cars are a bad investment

Wow! This is terrible! In 4 years you will have paid $784 x 48 = $37,632 (+ sales tax?) + $3,000 downpayment = $40,632 and you will have no car.

By my rough calculations, you overpaid about $3,000 for the car, the leasing company is making about $11,000 in interest off you, and you might now be paying sales tax (again) on the part of your monthly payment that is due to the negative equity you rolled in.

What can I say... I hope you enjoy your new car!
