Hi guys.

Just to be clear, this is an F-Sport model. I ordered it through the dealer and followed it (through the dealer reports) directly from Japan to Vancouver (on boat of course), then on a train from Vancouver to the main Lexus receiving area in Toronto, then to the dealership in Brampton.

Through the dealership I ordered (and paid for) the F-Sport exhaust, springs and shift ****. The dealership added them on after the vehicle arrived from Japan. They gave me the original springs (left them in a box in the trunk) and offered to give me the old exhaust too.

When I started looking for an F-Sport model the dealership had a black one in the showroom. It had the same seats. Then they got a white one in (for someone else) and I went to see it - it also had the same seats. The seats have 10 way power settings.

Maybe the ventilated seats are a Canadian thing?

Anyhow, I thought I would explain it.

Looks great in white. I have the same F-Sport options you have. Couldn't pass up the F-Sport option and F-Sport accessories.

Guys:

It's an F-Sport. Not a dealer creation. So don't be haters...

It's probably a regional thing with regards to the perferated seats. When I was in the market for my 4Runner (back in 2000), I wanted grey leather. For that model year, they only offered it in tan. Toyota only offered the grey leather to dealers in the southeast region. I ended up installing the grey leather myself.

Def no hating here, we all love the car

it's essentially the same things I want when I upgrade in a few months.

Guys, this is a Canadian spec F-Sport and according to the Canadian website there are some differences (incl. leather seats) in Canadian F-Sports. These sorts of slight changes happen all the time in different markets. Makes no difference, it's a good lookin' ride.

Question, per the 2011 Lexus IS brochure, it states the "F-Sport Package" comes with the F-Sport shift ****. The one you purchased (not included in F-Sport package?) and in your photo is not what I have. I've suspected "someone" traded the shift **** prior to delivery of my 2011 IS 350 F-Sport. Mine is cheap looking, black rubber with chrome in the middle. I'll check with the dealer on my return. Can anyone clarify this.

I don't know what shifter **** came with the F-Sport package car, I never saw it - the dealer put on the F-Sport **** (the one in the photo). On the Canadian site when you use the "build and price" your car feature, the F-Sport shift **** is an option you can buy even after you select the F-Sport package. Maybe it's different in the US?

The Steering wheel and shift **** that are included in the F-sport package are perforated:

Non F-sport package steering wheel and shift **** are standard leather:

The "f-sport" shift **** (CF w/blue stiching) is an accessory like the Springs, shocks, exhaust, etc.

Thanks FSport350 for the detailed answer with pics. I have the correct shift ****. I assumed it should have had a "F-Sport" emblem on the shifter ****.

Guys, if you look closely at the pics with heated seat controls, the dials only go one way towards red..
The seats might be ventilated but there's no cool feature..

BTW, love the body color..
