Default !!!Help!!! Dropped Key Fob in Toilet!!!!

I can't believe this just happened!!! So I'm taking off my hoodie sweatshirt and all of a sudden I see this black blob fly into the toilet. Yup...my keys were in my "pouch" on the hoodie and the motion of me lifting it off flung my keys...including my Fob into the toilet! I could have done this a million times and never hit the toilet if I was actually trying to do a skill shot.

Anyway, I have it sitting in a bag of rice right now and hopefully that dries it out. I tested it out after drying it off and it functioned ok. I'm hoping I didn't damage the electronics at all.

Has anyone else gotten their key fob soaked??? Does it still work??? What did you do to dry them out???

Any help you can provide would be great!!!! Thanks!

if you pop it open you will see that there is a rubber membrane against the buttons so you 100% ok. just hope the toilet had clean water in it. haha

The one time it comes flying out it has to land in the toilet of all places right?

At least you don't have to buy a new one!

water resistant does not mean waterproof
