hey guys! just a quick question....it might be a dumb one, but i was wondering if youre able to take the old lexus emblem off the original grill and put it on the ebay one?? Or do i need to buy another emblem to put on the ebay one?? Thanks!

Can reuse old one. You have to spray some goo gone on it first, then carefully pry it off. Or if you don't want the hassle, get a new one.

I reused mine I took a old credit card type card that I didint need anymore and I slid it underneath then kinda sawed it back and forth then used automotive double sided tape then cut it to fit around the L and the middle the for extra grip I stuck some of that tape on the back side of those two little tabs from the L

Btw I picked up the tape at part source kinda over priced 15$ for a role but worked great

Looks great bro and it also looks pretty easy. How easy or difficult is is to remove the emblem form the OEM grill?

The emblem removal was a piece of cake just go with a credit card type card slide it in between the emblem and grill saw it back and forth just be careful for the two pegs on each side took about 3 mins and I bought it from eaxi racing for 50$ good quality and the same you'd get off ebay except a lot cheaper

I don't think so. The main reason many of us purchased this was because the OEM F-Sport grille inserts were not available for MY '06-'08. I haven't tried searching but I doubt it will be easy to find. In any case, although they're similar at first glance, there are differences (color, depth, and QUALITY) that make the authentic F-Sport grille insert much better and I suggest buying the real thing!

There's already an original fsport grill for that year so there's no need for a rep. Quite bit of members here have been sporting it for a while now.
