Default HID problem

My left headlight comes on only for second and than dies.This is the first time since I have the car.Pop the hood and checked all the fuses,they fine.Don't know where the relays are.Maybe bad ground?Anybody had that problem?

Most likely the bulb is going out but it could also be a bad ballast. Swap sides with the bulbs and see if it continues to happen. If just the left side continues to have problems then it's the ballast. If it moves to the right side then you know it's the bulb.

Thanx guys.will do the swap.Is it ballast cover under warranty?

Had the exact problem with my 2008 Avalon Touring driver side. My mechanic switched the bulb from Driver to passenger and passenger side is now flickering. Ordered two Philips D4R from Amazon.com last week at $55 each should arrive this week.

yeah it should be, if i remember correctly, someone had it replaced before under warranty in another thread.

Your 07 IS250 should use D4S bulb. Also I found the Toyota D4R/DS4 ballast at hidconcept.com at $75 each. Don't know if this will fit the lexus.
