Oh ok that makes sense. I was wondering why the front looked so high, even at stock height.
I just have another question. Ive had it answered by someone already but Im just trying to get a few other peoples prespective.
Will a RWD IS on 18s at stock suspension be at the same height compared to a IS on 20s dropped moderately? Say 1 finger gap all around? By heigh I mean distance from the ground to the bottom of your front bumper.
Essentially what I want to know is if a person who isnt into cars can tell the height difference between the two cars.

I think even 19s are too big.
There is zero advantage whatsoever in bigger rims outside of aesthetic appeal, and I don't think this car can even visually pull off anything bigger than 18s if it is dropped. An aggressive offset and a drop are all you need to make 18s look fantastic on this car IMO.

As long as you are using stock tires spec, it doesn't u go for 19" or 20" wheels for example if you going for 20" wheels the tires up front should be 225-30-20 and the rear 255-30-20 so with these set up it will be in stock 18" wheels specs are 25.1" diamiater up front and 26.1" in the rear

Dude tell me about you're car PLEASE!!
So I'm getting a little bored, and was considering getting 20's. I've noticed that 20's aren't popular among the 2is community. Why is this? Why are 19's preferred?
Also, I hear that the car sits higher with 20's. But I thought with the correct tires to maintain rolling diameter, height should be the same.
Added random pictures, with CL, they never hurt!

I personally am going 20's myself and having H&R's put on. I know I'll have some rub, but the extent of it is yet to be answered. I really would like to know if it'll rub only when I turn or with everyday driving. I made another post and I have an answer sort of but I hope someone can clarify for me.
Going 235/30/20 8.5 all around. I'll post pics when it's done. Won't get the rims in until July 10th or something. Can't wait!
