Default Scuffmark on glove box (soft rubber)

My girlfriend wears those shoes with heels that look like they are designed to be weapons first, and footwear second.

At some point fidgeting around she managed to put a slight scuff on the soft rubber of the glovebox with her heel. It's very slight, looks like a faint line of ligth grey chalk that should rub right out with water, but it does not.

Is there anything I can put on it to make the scratch blend in with the rubber behind it?

thx-MBTC

Try some meguiars interior detailer spray. I managed to get some scuffs out of the same area. Hope it helps

I bet it's scratches. Look closely see if it looks "hairy".

Yeah, I'm approaching the issue from that angle (tactfully) as well...

But these interiors are a little too soft/fragile, so I'm not going to make a federal case out of it with her. I was in the car when it happened, and no other car I've ever owned would have been so susceptible to a permanent scuff mark like that.

Just hoping it's not too hard to fix.

I have the same kind of mark on the drivers side door, where someone scuffed it before I purchased it. I've tried everything I can think of including the detail spray. Looks like it almost needs to be filled in a bit.

Hmm I gave my Vinylex away when I sold my S2000's. Anyone tried this yet?

what were ya'll doing with her legs up that high?

try a heat gun to soften it and a wooden tongue depressor or something that wont melt to press on it a little to smooth it out.

You ARE talking about the car, right?

But seriously... this scuff is so faint that I will probably try the other solutions before resorting to this. There's no depth to the scuff at all so I can't even really call it a scratch, it literally looks like something that you should be able to rub off with a wet cloth, unfortunately it doesn't come off.

Pencil eraser, perhaps? And try a white block eraser before the pink pencil-topped ones.
