So why doesn't your wife drive her OWN car to work?

I would say, every once in a while, you have to let the spouse drive your car. But, don't make it a habit or else who's car is it? I agree with others, get rid of her car, give her your car, and get yourself a new 350.

It's your car right? Sooooo why is she driving it in the first place? I have never let my husband drive mine in the almost 5 years that I've had the car!

Wait you guys, don't be so hard on his wife. She is the sweetest lady in the world and they share the IS. She doesn't impress me as a selfish controlling woman, she is very gentle and giving.

I think the co workers are taking advantage of her sweet peaceful personality.

Dont buy 2 of the same cars... a IS250 and a IS350 .... dont do that. Just keep your IS250 and trade in her RSX or make her drive her RSX...

Whats so hard about just saying NO. She had someone hit a brick wall and damage your Expensive CAR!! are u seriously thinking of an excuse... They have their own cars, so why cant everyone just take their own? makes no sense to me. Is she scared of saying no, to a car that doesn't belong to her?

True. We had come to an agreement to make me like a total arsehole to her co-worker. She's gonna tell them that it's my husband's car and he disapproved. I'm ok with that.

They use her as a secretary on the side making her do Costco runs and drive them to restaurants. She's been taken advantage of.

Anyway, I got my baby back from the shop now. All fixed and armored up. They touched up the chipped area and installed 3m clear bra on the edge.... all for FREE

I love German Auto Body. I am recommending them to this site. They really do take care of you as a customer. I wasn't expecting them to do free job.

If you guys around the bay area and like to try a good shop, they are the one. Yelp has 5 stars on them.

Do you have before and after pics? Will they do a clear bra?

I'm surprised that nobody offered the idea that you purchase your wife a 1993 Daewoo 2-door (leaky exhaust preferred). Not nearly as expensive as another Lexus, and one ride in the back seat of that sucker and nobody will ever ask your wife for a ride again!

LOL. That's a good idea, but I don't think I can find Daewoo around anymore.

Yesterday, they got my wife to drive her RSX because they all claim to have messy backseats. These people just have no shame.

Well, she broke the news to her co worker that "her husband doesn't want any more butts in the backseat of his Lexus" So no more Lexus joy riding for her co-workers. We'll see how that goes.

Anyway, I mis-understood the bodyshop... they just installed the clear bras for free. Touchup or paint will make the spot more noticeable under the bra. Oh well, I live on with a chip I don't want to spend too much money on a paint chip, I'll leave it as is.

Get some old clothes that you are donating and throw them in the back of the RSX and when they want her to go, she call tell the ladies to just push the dirty laundry aside because: "Oh, sorry, I didn't have time go to the laundromat!"

No harm no foul, right?

Time to take my car into the body shop. *Sigh*

Had a long talk with my wife. Any ideas how to prevent it from happening?

She's the newest to the company, and her co-workers are taking advantage of her. They are not bad people, but they always make her drive my car. I told her just tell them "my husband doesn't allow it" But they'll probably give her a hard time at work after that.
change or upgrade it to lambo door.
