:cry:My car got keyed, what should i do?

My family owns a body shop and one thing i know is that people that are cheap are never satisfied. Simply because they don't want to pay more for work to be done how it should be done and want to cut corners. In your case i would do exactly as said before, get the back door painted, and front fender with your damaged door. You want to make sure you do it right the first time so you are not disappointed and i doubt you want to be driving around in a lexus with a discolored door. my .02

most dealerships send out body work to local body shops anyways and then charges a markup to you. Find a local shop that has decent reviews and just go through them (through insurance or not, your choice) and cut out the middlemen.
You can also try this first. Its less than 11 bucks shipped from Amazon if you have amazon prime. Meguiar's M-0716 Mirror Glaze Professional Show Car Glaze. Its pretty effective in somewhat blending the scratch, depending on the color. Drawback is, like wax and other polishes.. you need to continue applying int and maintaining it or it will fade.
There's also been an ***** going around my neighborhood the past month scratching cars. Some cars got it a lot worst than I did. The Meguiar's has helped me to live with those scratches until I get a replacement car or a garage!

^ I agree. Even if you don't see a color difference the dealership that you trade it into will and it will hurt your resale value. It's a Lexus not a Daewoo fix it right.
