![Question](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have a 2006 IS250 AWD w/Luxury Package. Does anyone know know if I can upgrade to the 10.1 nav disc? Or is there a limit to what version I can upgrade to?
I believe I have the 5.1 nav disc that came w/the car now. I also have performed the nav hack so I can use the nav while driving, not sure if this will limit me to what disc I can upgrade to.
Thanks in advance

Yes, you can upgrade to 10.1 - just make sure you buy the version for the "Gen 5" nav system.
With regard to entering destinations while driving, the override function where you press on the corners of the screen to bring up a service menu and request the override will no longer work. (Unless you make a hybrid disc with the old software and new maps) The bright side of upgrading to the newer software is that you will no longer have to press "I agree" every time you start the car. If you've done a hardware mod (either installing your own switch, or an aftermarket solution like Prestigious Society), it will work just fine.

Hi, thanks for your response. Actually that is not the nav hack I was referring to. This is the nav hack I performed:
